Ten years as parish priest
 On Monday the 29th of August, Canon Reuben Micallef commemorated the tenth anniversary of his office as parish priest of Żebbuġ. A reference to the commemoration was made at the 7.00 p.m Mass. During these ten years, Canon. Micallef presided encouraged various projects, the first among which is the restoration project of the dome of the parish church. The birthday of the Legion of Mary The Legion of Mary which was established in Dublin, Ireland on the 7th of September 1921 is present in many countries, even in Malta and Gozo. On Saturday the 10th of September at 8.30 p.m. a Mass by the Legionaries of Mary was celebrated at St Francis’ Church, Victoria. Legionaries from Żebbuġ attended. The Feast of the Blessed Name of the Virgin Mary  The feast of the Name of the Virgin known as Il-Madonna tal-Għażżiela was celebrated on Sunday the 11th of September. Mgr. Joseph Bezzina of the Gozo Cathedral celebrated the 4.30 p.m. Mass. The procession was accompanied by the
Santa Marija Band. The għażżiel were blessed at the end of the Mass and given out to the faithful.
Live-in for the altar servers Between Tuesday the 13th and Thursday the 15th of September, the live-in for the altar servers took place. Archpriest Can.
