The feast of St Fortunatus Martyr was celebrated on Sunday the 18th of November 2012. On Thursday, Friday and Saturday 15th, 16th and 17th the Triduum in honour of the Saint took place. It was preached by Canon Joseph Cini of the Collegiate Basilica of Xaghra. The concelebration on Sunday at 3.30 p.m was presided over by Archbishop Emeritus Mgr. Joseph Mercieca. The Archbishop preached on the virtues of the martyr saint. The procession this year did not march due to bad weather.
