| Sunday the 28th of April
The 11am Mass commemorated the birthday of the parish; the Mayor and the members of the Local Council attended the Mass. During the Mass the Archpriest referred to the 28th of April 1688, which has been held as the date for the foundation of the parish together with three other parishes in Gozo. Wednesday the 1st of May At 7.30 p.m. the Archpriest Canon John Sultana celebrated Mass at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary. This was the first Wednesday in preparation for the feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary celebrated on the 15th of August. The procession with the statue of St Joseph did not take place. Wednesday the 8th of May – Commemoration of Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompei At 7pm Archpriest Canon John Sultana presided Mass on the occasion of the commemoration of Our Lady of the Rosary of Pompei. Before the Mass, the Supplica of the Virgin of Pompei was recited. The Archpriest delivered the homily during Mass; he made use of the screen on which the congregation could see pictures of the devotional painting of the Virgin of Pompei, the Sanctuary of Pompei in Italy and that of Blessed Bartolo Longo, the main promoter of the devotion of the Rosary. Thursday the 9th May – Feast of St George Preca At 6.30 p.m. the children left the premises of the MUSEUM in Triq Madonna taċ-Ċiċri and walked through Għajn Mhelhel Street into the parish square with the image of Saint George Preca while holding the papal white and yellow flag. Prayers written by the Maltese saint himself were recited. At 7pm the Archpriest presided the Mass. The members of the Society of Christian Doctrine animated the Mass. After the Mass, the children had games organized for them on the church parvis. The bouncing castle attracted the main attention.
