Congratulations to Fabio Cini We would like to congratulate student and altar-server Fabio Cini for being chosen to be among the finalists of the Premju Nazzjonali Żagħżugħ tas-Sena organized by the Kerugma Movement. On Friday the 3rd of February the President of the Republic Mrs Marie Louise Coleiro Preca presented the gifts to the winners and those who took part in the competition. Special collection for the Restoration Project of the Church On Friday the 17th and Saturday the 18th a door to door collection took place in order to collect money for the restoration project of the church. Work on the dome is almost ready; the second phase of the project will shortly begin. Thank you for your cooperation. Ash Wednesday Ash Wednesday was celebrated on Wednesday the 1st of March 2017. The 6.00 p.m Mass was presided by Archpriest Rev Reuben Micallef. Animated Via Crucis On Friday the 19th of March, a Via Crucis took place in the Church after the evening Mass. The Regina Angelorum Choir animated the liturgy by singing verses from local Lenten hymns. Spiritual Exercises for everybody The Spiritual Exercises for everybody took place from Monday the 13th to Friday the 17th of March. Canon Fr Michael Borg Rector of the Marsalforn Church preached. On Friday the 17th of March, a Via Crucis for the youth took place on Għammar Hill overlooking the Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary. Via Crucis for adolescents A Via Crucis for the adolescents of the parish was organized on Wednesday 15th March on Għammar Hill. It began at about 700 p.m. and ended at 8.00 p.m. Spiritual Exercises for Married Couples The Spiritual Exercises for Married Couples are being preached by Fr Charles Sultana, Parish Priest of San Lawrenz.
