The 4th of November, commemoration of St Charles Borromeo was the 49th anniversary of the cemetery
chapel. It had been blessed and consecrated by the late Bishop Giuseppe Pace. The archpriest at the
time was Dun Frangisk Mercieca who was also its benefactor.
