On the initiative of Archpriest Canon. Reuben Micallef, assistant-priest Fr. Geoffrey G Attard wrote a long poem of a historical nature in which he narrated the history of the parish of Zebbug from its very beginnings in 1688 to the present day. The main aim behind it is to present it
in dramatic form during the days leading to the titular feast. At the moment a big group of people are meeting up on a regular basis to prepare the dramatic feature. L-Ghanja tal-Parroca is the name of the poem which will eventually be published in booklet-form. The dramatic representation is under the direction of the Archpriest Reuben Micallef, Diane Calleja together with Redeemera Farrugia and Christian Cassar.
