The Santa Marija Band of our locality participated fully in the annual celebrations of
Ilwien ir-Rebbiegha which has been organized once again by the Zebbug Local Council. On Sunday 25th April the band gave its service of band marches at 9.00 am. The Band marched from its headquarters to the parish square. On Wednesday 28th April, the Band gave organized a musical program in the village square at 8.00 pm. The Mayor of Zebbug was present and the main guest was the Mayor of Mqabba.
Gieh iz-Zebbug was awarded to Toni Farrugia known locally as Il-Qans who for more than twenty years has given his contribution in favour of the titular feast.
